The College of Business at Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU) continues to promote international education by hosting the 2026 International Business Camp this summer. Students from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) and Pittsburg State University (PSU) in the United States joined CYCU students for a three-week program featuring all-English courses, field trips, and cultural activities. Through these learning experiences, the camp helped strengthen cross-cultural communication and prepare future business professionals with a global mindset and practical skills.

This year’s camp continued the long-standing partnership between the CYCU College of Business and MTSU, while also welcoming students from PSU to join the program. Students from different countries and cultural backgrounds came together to learn, share ideas, and grow together. By studying, living, and working with one another, they improved their teamwork and cross-cultural communication skills, while also broadening their international perspectives.

All courses and activities were conducted in English, with students working in groups throughout the program. The camp included classroom learning as well as company visits. To provide students with a wider range of learning opportunities, seven professors and guest speakers were invited to give lectures on different business-related topics. These sessions offered students valuable knowledge and practical international perspectives. During the company visits, students learned about the operations of Taiwanese businesses through presentations and interactive discussions. The participants also visited well-known cultural attractions, including Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall and the Glass Museum, giving students from our U.S. partner universities a deeper understanding of Taiwanese culture.

The International Business Camp has become one of the College of Business’s key international programs. In the future, the college will continue to strengthen its partnerships with Middle Tennessee State University, Pittsburg State University, and other overseas partner universities. Through international courses, industry visits, cultural exchange, and sustainability education, the college hopes to provide more diverse learning opportunities and develop business professionals with strong professional skills, global perspectives, and a sense of social responsibility, while carrying out CYCU’s educational vision of whole-person education and connecting with the world.
