Education concept and philosophy
The Chung Yuan Christian University, College of Business upholds an education philosophy that revolves around the objective of providing holistic education by offering quality teaching, innovative research and promotion of professional knowledge. The College of Business cultivates professional talents and gives them global perspective and ethical training needed for national development and in supportimg for a sustainable business growth. These lead to materialize of information applications, increase individual potential, and internalize the value of service learning.

- Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development
- Promoting cross-strait and international academic exchanges

- Developing the promotion of cross-school and cross-department Mainland business administration courses

Future Outlook
The United Nations launched the “2030 Sustainable Development Goals” (SDGs), which propose 17 core objectives for global governments and businesses to strive for sustainable development. The Educational Philosophy of the College of Business covers the sustainable development goals of the United Nations and integrates them into education and research.
The school plans to file with the Ministry of Education to launch The Department of Information Management doctoral program, The Department of International Trade doctoral program, and The Department of Finance master program, through which to develop and integrate a comprehensive and quality research team. There are plans to continue to develop equipment and software facilities of the “Digital e-Learning Center for Financial Education and the “The Testing Center for Financial Certification”, and to secure hosting governmental professional licensing. (SDGs 4 Quality Education)
The school plans to launch the “IPBM: International Program for Business and Management”, for recruiting local and foreign students that combine the college’s teaching resources of five departments to offer a business master degree in an all English teaching environment. There are plans to recruit outstanding international students by coordinating favorable international graduate student grants that the school offers, to excel the business know-how of the local master students and foreign students through global academic learning. The school cultivates the international business talents needed by Taiwanese businesses and multinational corporations, and strengthen the faculty and student body with a global perspective and diverse know-how. To promote launching a research center , each department continues to refine the quality and quantity of academic search; to promote the faculty and student body to participate in local and foreign academic seminars and to publish their papers in academic periodicals. (SDGs 4 Quality Education)
To retain instructors with a doctoral degrees to strengthen the dynamics of the faculty, and to form strategic alliances with local and foreign business schools to excel the teaching quality of undergraduate degree. There are plans in the future to further improve the teaching quality of the graduate school and continuing education, through which to achieve higher research and continuing learning. Upon joining the AACSB as a member, the College of Business will actively promote AACSB certification-related work by not only dispatching representatives to participate in international conferences hosted by AACSB to absorb relevant certification bestowing experience, but also by extending invitations to scholars and experts to call on the college to share their AACSB accreditation experience.
