The College of Business at Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU) became a member school of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) in 2023. CYCU is the sixth business school in Taiwan, and the only private university to join EFMD. Following in the footsteps of National Chengchi University, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, National Tsing Hua University, National Sun Yat-sen University, and National Yunlin University of Science and Technology, which demonstrates CYCU’s vision and ambition for internationalization and global cooperation.

EFMD is the largest alliance organization for business schools in Europe, and a globally recognized education and corporate certification institution. It aims to promote business and management education and serve as a bridge between academia and industry. EFMD’s members include more than 900 business schools and government agencies worldwide, including renowned European schools such as London Business School, Cambridge Judge Business School, and Montpellier Business School in France. After joining EFMD this year, the College of Business at CYCU will enable students to communicate with over 900 outstanding member schools globally. This will enhance their international competitiveness.

Since successfully obtaining the AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accreditation in 2015, the College of Business at CYCU has become one of the top 5% high-quality business schools globally, alongside renowned institutions such as Harvard Business School, Fox School of Business at Temple University, and Jennings A. Jones College of Business at Middle Tennessee State University in the United States. With the dual accreditation of AACSB and EFMD membership, students and faculty will be able to engage in exchange programs or joint degree programs with schools worldwide, enabling them to achieve better results in the international management education field and strive towards becoming a world-class university.
