On April 14, 2026, at an award ceremony held in Seattle, USA, he was honored by Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS)—the International Business Honor Society—with both the Business Achievement Award and the Entrepreneurial Achievement Award. Dr. Peng has made a historic achievement: The first person in over 100 years of BGS history to sweep both awards and is the first person in Taiwan’s history to receive this double honor. This achievement is a testament to his professional excellence and highlights CYCU’s strength in cultivating world-class leaders.

A veteran entrepreneur from Malaysia, Dr. Peng founded IQS Wood SDN. BHD. in 2006. With a visionary mindset, he has led the transformation of the traditional wood manufacturing industry into a modern, eco-friendly, and sustainable green business. Dr. Ming-Lei Chang, Dean of the CYCU College of Business, and Dr. Yu-Lun Chen, Associate Dean, also attended the conference in the U.S. to witness Dr. Peng’s outstanding global achievement.

Alongside his wife, he has actively given back to society and supported younger generations. In 2024, he was honored with the 4th Distinguished Taiwan Alumni Award by the Ministry of Education for his contributions to educational exchange between Taiwan and Malaysia.
