The College of Asian Scholars is located in Khon Kaen, a political and economic center in northeastern Thailand, and was formerly one of the APEC Digital Opportunity Centers. Meanwhile, the College of Business is accredited by AACSB, placing it among the top 5% of business schools worldwide. Through this partnership, both institutions aim to further strengthen international connections and provide students with broader learning perspectives and development opportunities.

The “Thai-Khong Man You” international volunteer team from the Department of Information Management has long been dedicated to serving in Khon Kaen, Thailand, with continuous efforts spanning nine years and yielding fruitful results. The program covers areas such as generative AI, AR/VR/MR, the Internet of Things (IoT), smart manufacturing, drones, and programming, while also incorporating Taiwanese cultural exchange. Each year, the team serves more than ten schools, continuously enhancing digital literacy and learning motivation among local teachers and students.

Professor Hsiu-Li Liao, Chair of the Department of Information Management and leader of the “Thai-Khong Man You” team, noted that in the Khon Kaen region, computer application skills and Chinese language proficiency are highly correlated with employment opportunities, making related courses particularly valued. Through long-term commitment, Chung Yuan Christian University has facilitated a strong connection between Taiwan’s smart management expertise and local industry needs in Thailand, demonstrating concrete outcomes of higher education’s participation in international development.

The College of Business has long been committed to holistic education and university social responsibility, strengthening the integration of academic knowledge and practical experience through international collaboration. This partnership with the College of Asian Scholars not only enhances academic exchange and talent cultivation but also highlights the importance of cultural exchange and regional connectivity.

In the face of declining birth rates and intensifying global competition for talent, the College of Business will continue to expand its international collaboration network. Through resource sharing and strategic alliances, it aims to actively build a cooperative network for higher education across Asia.
