The delegation from Ateneo Graduate School of Business (AGSB), Philippines visited CYCU Business College on June 11, 2018 to discuss faculty and students exchanges and to open-up graduate school collaboration. The AGSB is part of the Ateneo academic system, which is the second best university system in the Philippines. The meeting was attended by the delegation from the Department of Operation Management and Information Technology of AGSB headed by their Chairman, Prof. Ralph Ante, MBA; and the CYCU delegation was attended by department chairs, faculty members, and Dean Alex Liu, PhD of the COB; and Vice-Dean Bernie Huang, PhD and Ms. Yan Wu of the Office of International and Cross-Strait Education; and Prof. David Chiu, PhD of the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering. Prof. John Francis Diaz made a brief introduction of CYCU and the Business College, followed by the presentation of Prof. David Chiu on the English courses from the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, and finally the presentation from Prof. Li Kuo-Chen, PhD, on the English courses at the Department of Information Management. Prof. Manuel Tenmatay from AGSB introduced the school, explained courses related to Operations Management and IT, and showed the their collaboration with Kyushu Business School of Kyushu University, Japan. Following the introductions of CYCU Business College and AGSB, both parties discussed of possible student and faculty exchanges. After the discussion, the COB delegation showed the college teaching facility and faculty research offices. After the visit, there will be online correspondence to discuss details of possible collaborations.
